Veřejný profil Jindřich Brejšek
Narodil se 7. března 1930 v Praze. Na pražské konzervatoři studoval hru na trubku u V. Paříka a V. Junka, dirigování u Dr. V. Smetáčka. Dvacet pět let působil jako šéfdirigent Ústřední hudby Československé lidové armády.
Od roku 1970 úzce spolupracoval i s Podnikovým dechovým orchestrem ŠKODA AUTO jako odborný poradce v rámci spolupráce s Ústřední hudbou Československé lidové armády. V této činnosti se střídal s Eduardem Kudeláskem až do roku 1981. Byla sice nepravidelná, ale pro umělecký růst orchestru neocenitelná a velmi přínosná.
o odchodu do důchodu v roce 1987 pokračuje v dirigentské činnosti se symfonickými orchestry (Filmový symfonický orchestr, Studiový orchestr, Vojenský symfonický orchestr). Dvanáct let pracuje ve výboru Českého hudebního fondu. Je častým členem různých soutěžních porot a dlouholetým předsedou organizačního výboru Mezinárodního festivalu dechových hudeb v Praze.
Svou skladatelskou a aranžérskou činností usiluje o rozšiřování repertoáru velkých dechových orchestrů a o plné využití jejich nástrojového obsazení. Je zván ke spolupráci při významných akcích a výročích Podnikového dechového orchestru ŠKODA AUTO.
He was born on 7 March, 1930 in Prague. At the Prague Conservatoire, he studied trumpet in the class of professors Pařík and Junek. He was taught conducting by professor Smetáček. For twenty-five years, he held the function of the Central Czechoslovak Army Band chief conductor.
From 1970, he was a special advisor of ŠKODA AUTO Company Brass Orchestra which cooperated with the Czechoslovak Army Central Music Band. He held this function together with Eduard Kudelásek until 1981. Irregular though it was, the cooperation was invaluable and very contributive for the development of the orchestra.
Though having retired in 1987, he has carried on conducting in various orchestras (Film Symphonic Orchestra, Studio Orchestra, Army Symphonic Orchestra). For twelve years he has been working in the Czech Music Fund comittee. He is a frequent member of various competition juries and a long-time chairman of the Prague International Brass Band Festival organization comittee.
Through his compositions and arrangements he strives for broadening of the huge brass orchestras´ repertory and for making the most of all of the entire instrumental cast. He is frequently invited to important events and anniversaries of the ŠKODA AUTO Company Brass Orchestra.
Er wurde am 7. März 1930 in Prag geboren. An dem Prager Konservatorium studierte er Trompetespielen bei V. Pařík und V. Junek, Dirigieren bei Dr. V. Smetáček. Zwanzig Jahre war er als Chefdirigent der Zentralkapelle der tschechoslowakischen Armee tätig.
Seit dem Jahre 1970 hat er im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Zentralkapelle und dem ŠKODA AUTO Orchester als Fachberater gearbeitet. In dieser Tätigkeit wechselte er sich mit Eduard Kudelásek bis zum Jahre 1981ab. Die Tätigkeit war zwar unregelmäßig, doch sehr bereichernd und für das künstlerische Wachstum des Orchesters unschätzbar.
Nach seiner Pensionierung im Jahre 1987 fährt er in der Dirigentschaft in Sinfonieorchestern fort. Zwanzig Jahre arbeitet er im Ausschuss des Tschechischen Musikfonds. Er ist langjähriger Vorsitzende des Organisatoryenausschusses des Internationalen Festivals der Blasorchester in Prag und häufiges Mitglied verschiedener Musikjurys.
Als Komponist und Arrangeur strebt er die Repertoireverbreitung der großen Blasorchester und volle Ausnützung der Instrumentbesetzung an. Er wird zur Zusammenarbeit und bei bedeutenden Veranstaltungen und Jahrtagen des ŠKODA AUTO Orchesters geladen.
